Help! I am a Greek god trapped in a dog’s body! Haha, I am kidding but honestly, after looking at my photos can you deny that I am perfection? I could be a dog GQ ad for most handsome boy of the year. My name is Zeus and I am looking for a mere mortal to adopt/foster me. My story is a little sad, but aren’t most Greek gods/demigods tragedies sad? They are not called tragedies for no reason, and I think my backstory is the tail or tale of legends. I was brought into the shelter as an owner surrender when I was just a puppy at the age of 5-6 months for simply being a puppy. But it’s okay, I know puppies can be a handful. I have grown up in the shelter and would love to be broken out of jail to start the next chapter of my epic journey.
While my unfortunate history might have negatively impacted other dogs of lesser character, I remain unphased. I love humans and I like other dogs, too! I even like children, but would prefer older children as I am quite the energetic god/dog. I would like an active owner to help run off some of my energy, and after that I think it would be nice if I could have lots of pets and cuddles. I do have a licker problem, but I promise I am seeking help from L.A. (Lickers Anonymous). All Greek gods and goddesses had their faults, and now you know mine. I am available for adoption and/or fostering.
Zeus is a playful and energetic 45 lbs. neutered rust/brown mix male. He was brought into the shelter on 3/11/23.
