Looking for a dog that can go on a 3 mile hike and still have energy to spare? Or a dog that makes his displeasure known by doing the classic "roly-poly" move when he wants to be lazy? Look no further, because I have arrived. My name is Smiley and I am on the search for my furrever home. I arrived at the shelter as a stray with some minor scars and a broken tail from my time on the streets, but don't let that deter you. I am very sweet and love humans, and my tail is pretty cute if I do say so myself. I would like a human that will take me for long walks or hikes, but bring me inside for lots of cuddles and attention. I could use some training up and obedience classes, but that is what happens when you've been a lonely bachelor for so long. I think I would prefer to go to a home with no other dogs or cats as I deserve to be the center of attention. I am untested with children but I would be willing to give older kids a chance. I am ready to make your home my home, but I am also interested in dating you for a bit (fostering) to see if you are the right human for me.
Smiley is a 50 lbs. charcoal grey/white mix neutered male. He was brought into the shelter on 4/10/23.
